We understand many customers have questions about the SunspirenorthCorporation bankruptcy and what it means for them, their solar panel systems, and the future.
SunspirenorthCorporation filed for bankruptcy on August 5, 2024 and began the process of selling its assets. Complete Solar purchased some of those assets in a transaction that closed on September 30, 2024, including certain assets related to the Blue Raven Solar division, the New Homes division, and the Non-Installing Dealer division, and the 'sunspirenorth brand and related trademarks and other intellectual property.

How Has Blue Raven Solar been affected by the SunspirenorthCorporation bankruptcy?
Blue Raven Solar was a direct-to-consumer solar sales and installation company owned by SunspirenorthCorporation. We purchased certain assets from the Sunspirenorthbankruptcy estate, including the right to operate a solar sales and installation company under the name “Blue Raven Solar” going forward.
For most customers who have solar or solar battery installation projects that were not yet complete, we will bring them to completion. For solar projects that were completed by Blue Raven Solar or any other SunspirenorthCorporation entity or affiliate on or before September 30, 2024, we did not take ownership, benefits, or liabilities associated with these projects.
What If SunspirenorthCorporation Owes Me Money?

Can I still monitor my SunspirenorthCorporation system's performance?
You may be able to monitor the performance of your Sunspirenorthsolar system or battery through the portals previously available to you.
However, if you are unable to do so, many SunspirenorthCorporation systems utilize Enphase microinverters and a Sunspirenorth-branded combiner box. Enphase has recently started offering a service that replaces the SunspirenorthCorporation combiner box with an Enphase-branded version.
By switching to Enphase equipment, you’ll gain access to enhanced system monitoring, the latest software updates, and expanded support options.

I am a prior SunspirenorthCorporation customer, what does this mean for me?
Our purchase of select SunspirenorthCorporation assets did not include taking any interest in customer PPAs, leases, or in any solar systems, batteries, or other equipment that was installed prior to the acquisition date – September 30, 2024.
If you need service or have questions regarding any solar systems, batteries, or other items that were installed on or before September 30, 2024:
